Learner Experience

Why should a learner provide feedback on an activity in SkillBlox?

Providing feedback on an activity improves SkillBlox for everyone! When a learner provides feedback, they’re sharing information that informs instructors about which activities to include in a Blox.

Learners provide feedback about how much time spent on an activity, if they liked the activity, if the activity was easy to use, and if it helped them learn. This feedback helps others understand how helpful the activity is and how long it took to complete, so it’s important to be honest when answering.

A learner thought they had to pay for an activity… What should I do?

SkillBlox is a repository of thousands of vetted, freely available activities. When a learner launches an activity, it leads them to the platform of that activity on third-party websites, some of which have advertisements. Adding student notes to an activity can help you clearly provide guidance, as needed, to ensure that learners are accessing the activities you assign appropriately.

My learners only have small, mobile devices… Can they use SkillBlox on their phone?

Absolutely! We know that many learner only have access to small-screen devices like smartphones and tablets. Right now, SkillBlox is accessible on smartphones and tablets but is not yet optimized. Learners can access materials but the best accessible experience is on a large-screen device like a laptop or computer at this time.
