Use this guide to learn how to add titles, instructions, and other details to your Blox. 

Step-by-Step Instructions

On the View SkillBlox page, you have a number of options to customize your Blox.

Your Blox title is very important! It's like a file name that will help you find and reference your Blox. The title is visible to students and will be visible to everyone if your Blox is public. 

To add a title, click on the ✏️ , type your title in the text box, and click SAVE.

2. Describe your Blox

You can add a summary to your Blox to give other instructors or your students an overview of what's inside and how to use it.

🖊 Instructor facing

If there’s something you want other instructors to know when they see your Blox, add an instructor facing summary. At the top of the Blox, click on the pen ✏️ , add the summary to the text box, and  SAVE .

🖊 Student facing

If there’s something you want students to know when they see your Blox, add a student facing summary. Click on the pen ✏️ , add the summary to the text box, and  SAVE .

3. Show, Hide, and Star Activities

👁 Click on the eye under Visibility to show or hide activities from the student's view. 

⭐ Click on the star to add emphasis to certain activities for the student's view.

4. Customize Activities

Expand the Options menu by clicking on the ellipsis ⋯ to see a range of options for customizing individual activities including 

⇩⇧ Choose Move to adjust the order of the activities. Alternatively, reorder them by dragging the = (sometimes known as a grip) to the right.

📝 Adding a note to the activity enables you to provide learners or instructors with activity-specific instructions.

❌ Click on Remove activity to delete the activity from your Blox.

From this menu, you can also Copy activity URL or View QR Code to launch the activity. 

Blox are made for sharing! There are a lot of ways to share your Blox with learners and other teachers.
